Our rates are based on a two-hour minimum engagement.  For example, at weddings we typically play the prelude, the ceremony, and the cocktail hour, with a very short interruption to change locations when necessary.  NB for most venues 2 hours is the perfect length of service - at Lord Thompson Manor you might consider the optional half hour extension, so we play throughout their luxurious 90 minute cocktail hour.

The pressures of inflation are impacting the musical community in the same way that it hits the rest of our society. It will unfortunately become necessary for us to raise our rates in 2026.

Professional Fees (2026, all inclusive) for a typical two-hour service in the Boston area

  • Trio: $1600 (our recommendation for most events)

  • Quartet: $2000 (our recommendation for events with 135 or more guests)

  • Duo: $975 (our recommendation for 70 or fewer guests, if you would like an all classical program)

 

Professional Fees (2026, all inclusive) for two-hours at Lord Thompson Manor, Beverly, Ipswich, or similar travel

  •  Trio: $1700 (our recommendation for most events)

  • Quartet: $2100 (our recommendation for events with 135 or more guests)

  • Duo: $1200 (our recommendation for 70 or fewer guests, if you would like an all classical program)

Additional Fees when necessary 

  • $50 per person on major holidays and holiday weekends

  • $50 per person per half hour for overtime

  • NB for most venues 2 hours is the perfect length of service - at Lord Thompson Manor you might consider the optional half hour extension, so we can play throughout their luxurious 90 minute cocktail hour

* Fees are all inclusive within metropolitan Boston, or Lord Thompson Manor.  Modest travel fees are necessary for engagements beyond this area, including Newport.  There are no additional booking fees for our services.  Very rarely, arrangement fees must be charged to accommodate highly unusual requests.  Please inquire about cartage fees for piano or harp.
