Our rates are based on a two-hour minimum engagement.  For example, at weddings we typically play the prelude, the ceremony, and the cocktail hour, with a very short interruption to change locations when necessary.

The pressures of inflation are impacting the musical community in the same way that it hits the rest of our society. It unfortunately became necessary for us to raise our rates in 2024. Please feel free to inquire with Brian about 2025 fees.

Professional Fees (2024, all inclusive) for a typical two-hour service in the Boston area

  • Trio: $1400 (our recommendation for most events)

  • Quartet: $1775 (our recommendation for events with 140 or more guests)

  • Duo: $875 (our recommendation for 70 or fewer guests)

 

Professional Fees (2024, all inclusive) for two-hours at Lord Thompson Manor, Beverly, Ipswich, or similar travel

  •  Trio: $1500 (our recommendation for most events)

  • Quartet: $1900 (our recommendation for events with 140 or more guests)

  • Duo: $1050 (our recommendation for 70 or fewer guests)

Additional Fees when necessary 

  • $50 per person on major holidays and holiday weekends

  • $50 per person per half hour for overtime

  • NB for most venues 2 hours is the perfect length of service - at Lord Thompson Manor you might consider the optional half hour extension, so we play throughout their luxurious 90 minute cocktail hour

* Fees are all inclusive within metropolitan Boston, or Lord Thompson Manor or Newport.  Modest travel fees are necessary for engagements beyond this area.  $50 per player differential is applied for New Year’s Eve. There are no additional booking fees for our services.  Very rarely, arrangement fees must be charged to accommodate highly unusual requests.  Please inquire about cartage fees for piano or harp.
